Chelsea have made a great start to the season and certainly have lived up to the billing of being the Premier league Champions. They seem to hammer in tons of goals every match no matter who the opposition. iSporter Chirag Mansukhani reports.

Going into the match against Blackpool they had put four goals in during their Champions League outing during the week and seemed to be unstoppable.
Chelsea certainly seem to be in sublime form and except for the absence of John Terry they really seem to be quite a force to contend with. In fact Ivanovic who had replaced the injured John Terry has been playing more than his part as well as Michael Essien who has recently returned from a horrific injury that kept him out of most of last season. Under the leadership of Carlo Ancelotti this side certainly seems one to be reckoned with and it will take a lot from Manchester United or any other club to take them down and snatch away their Premier league title.
The game started in typical fashion with Chelsea starting off strongly and it took only one minute and thirteen seconds for Chelsea to find the back of the net courtesy Kalou from a Drogba corner off a neat flick from the near post by Ivanovic.
From the very beginning it was clear it would be a matter of just how many times Chelsea would find the back of the net against the tangerines. In the seventh minute Essien had a long range shot go over the bar.
Come the 12th minute and Drogba had a neat run into the box with a great pass to pick out Malouda who found the back of the net for his fifth goal this season. Chelsea just seem to be on fire with 2 goals in the span of 12 minutes and one got the feeling that things were only just about starting to heat up.
It was Chelsea all the way and in the 30th minute Drogba put a third behind the Blackpool goalkeeper leaving the game all but wrapped up and in the bag. Following that there was again tremendous pressure applied by Chelsea all around and the tangerines just couldn't find a way to get the ball out of their half. One got a sense that the tangerines were getting taken to school against the mighty Chelsea.
The second half proved much the same with Chelsea on the attack and coming close to scoring on several occasions. The one consolation that the tangerines could take away from the game is the fact that they did not concede a goal during the second half.
All in all a great game by Chelsea and a clear statement of intent to the likes of United and Arsenal who are already playing catch up. One thing's for sure the title belongs to Chelsea and it will take a serious challenge to stop them from winning the title yet again. A smart man's money would not be against Chelsea.
