A team does not run only with a well drilled attack, but can also sustain itself with an impeccable defense. Bayern Munich boasts of one of the best attacks in Europe and Inter the best defense. iSport’s Pulasta Dhar could not have expected a much better final! Read on for more...

Inter Milan played some brilliant football at the Giuseppe Maezza, proving that they too can convert some quick chances after going down to a team like Barcelona. It is extremely hard for a team to come back from behind against the Catalans and few have been able to manage this feat in the last decade. But when you have a man like Jose Mourinho at the helm, anything is possible.

The greatest difference between Mourinho and the other managers is the way he seeps all the attention away from the players on to himself. If Inter lose, it is more like Jose Mourinho has lost, not the team. This amazing tactic and mind game allows his players to play freely, knowing that the boss is going to take full blame for a defeat. Barcelona proved to be a beatable team by a man who has this season beat both his ex-clubs and this is sure to spur on the Inter players.

When Sergio Busquets went down like an imbalanced three-wheeler and clutched his face it seemed Motta had shot him in the throat. But when the replays were seen, Mr. Sergio might soon be one of the villains in a James Bond movie, who takes a sneak peek at 007, only to wither in the end. And 007 might just be Mr. Jose! Don’t players know that cameras are watching them from every angle? With the money they get paid, why would someone do that? I can understand if you're Bolton and you do that, but if you are a team like Barcelona, then why do you need to force an opposition player being sent off?

Bayern Munich reaching the final is an incredible story, especially after both club and manager were written off much early than the final. Louis van Gaal has made an unbelievable attack into a scoring machine and its trademark being the wrong-footed wide players he has. Robben, Lahm and Ribery are less wingers and more inside forwards, being allowed the freedom to move in field and fire in shots that have gone in at the right time this season.

Van Gaal is the analytical brain who knows how every move will result into. Also, the movement of the team and the amazing speed they all have is a much needed asset against any team. Not only is the Dutch manager tactically sound, but his transfer brain works perfect. How many players in his team are huge investments? Robben, van Buyten and Ribery are players who have commanded considerable amount of cash, but apart from them, free transfers are the ones in which he is interested in. Olic, one of the freebies is currently working wonders for them.

Van Gaal also allow his players to have a lot of long shots, something we have not seen Inter Milan do and it will be very interesting to see how the best defense copes against arguably one of the most well-oiled attacks in Europe. Both managers are highly confident and have beaten last years finalists in the shape of United and Barcelona. Whatever you do, do not take a midnight flight, train or any other journey, attend a party, fall sick, face indigestion, forget renewing your Satellite TV package or fight with parents who sleep in the TV Room on the 22nd of May, because these might hamper your chances of witnessing one great match!
