Referee's decision is the final decision in Footbal. Even though Henry admitted of his unintentional hand-ball, France keeps the win against Ireland.
Should FIFA make changes to this trend for better decisions?

... The decision was not changed when Maradona had done it, I dont see any reason why it should be changed now. There is some room for error in all referee decisions. Also the referee sitting in a room actually make a wrong decision just by looking at video footage. |

... The whole outcry was dumb and stupid, if it was the English team that would have done it, they would have called it sportsmanship. He made a mistake and he will be punished for it, but you cannot change the result of the game. If you keep changing results of the game, to what extent do you go? Where do you stop? |

... I agree with you Asif, if there is some way to change this result then it will be called for every time there is a wrong decision. And wrong decisions cases will happen all the time, its part of game like LBW in cricket. |

... There is something like this going on in Cricket currently where the player can ask for review of a decision by himself and from what I know it has been causing embarrassment to the umpires and sometimes even the TV umpires have been getting it wrong. If we want to everything perfect and use technology to decide if the ball was in by a few micro meters or not we should rather use robots to the play games for us and kick the humans out. |

... France should consider themselves lucky.....very lucky. As for Henry, a super career has again been marred by a silly handball....just like Zidane's was marred by the headbutt |
