From the iSport IPL Paddock: iSporter Anmol Singh Diddan introduces his favourite Royal Challengers Bangalore. Do not miss his team introduction!

In the crazy world of sport; as is the case with life itself today; you simply do not have a chance to breathe. If this is the way we fans feel, then we can imagine what our heroes -- who just bought the World Cup home after 42 days of battle-must be feeling!

But, we need to get on with it as the IPL's fourth edition is upon us. It is set to be the biggest IPL yet even without its founding father Mr. Lalit Modi, who always added that X-factor.

After the crazy two days of the IPL auction, many rightly focused on the crazy decisions that came out of it - the likes of Dada and Gayle being left out! Tracking 250 odd players and analyzing the teams as to their composition has not really been in the spotlight but as the IPL draws closer, that is exactly what will happen.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore looks a well balance side, which is no surprise considering Anil Kumble was sitting at their auction table, who will serve as their mentor for this edition. They are backed by some expensive steals from the Mumbai Indians in the form of Zaheer Khan and Saurabh Tiwary. For any IPL team to succeed they need a good bunch of Indian players and that is what Bangalore has.

Here is their complete list of capped Indian players:

  • 1. Zaheer Khan
  • 2. Saurabh Tiwary
  • 3. Chetteshwar Pujara
  • 4. Virat Kohli
  • 5. Abhimanyu Mithun
  • 6. Mohammed Kaif

They have the best Indian seamer backed by the likes of Kohli and Tiwary who can be destructive on any day against any attack. Pujara and Kaif on the other hand can play the sheet anchor role.

When it comes to their foreign players, they are spoilt for choice really. In their skipper, Daniel Vettori, they have one of the best, street smart left arm spinner in the world. They also have the likes of Tilakaratne Dilshan and A.B. de Villiers who can tear any bowler apart. Dilshan will also prove to be helpful with his off spin and de Villiers can keep wickets.

In the bowling department they have Dirk Nannes who bowls a heavy ball, Charles Langeveldt who is South Africa's specialist T20 bowler. So when it comes to playing three foreigners (one will be Vettori), they will have a good selection headache. We should find out come Saturday, when they start their campaign against the Kochi Tuskers.

Here is their complete squad:
