The BCCI President Shashank Manohar has clearly stated that there is no question that former IPL Team and the winners of inaugural IPL cup Rajasthan Royals’ expulsion will be revoked. There were speculations in the media yesterday after the Royals’ owners wrote a letter to BCCI to consider their decision again and demanding a second chance.

It was due to the violations in the agreement and breach of contract by the team franchise that Board had to take decision to expel the IPL-1 Champions along with the other IPL team of Kings XI Punjab. Speaking to a news agency Manohar said that their writing a letter to BCCI doesn't hold any importance as the decision to expel Rajasthan Royals has been taken and will not be revoked.
Meanwhile the franchise has cleared all doubts with respect to the payments to the contracted players and has said that there is no issues regarding the payments and that the franchise is going to honour its obligations.
"There has been news in certain sections of the media on payment issues of Rajasthan Royals' players. We would take this opportunity to state that we have personally spoken with all our players to advise them of the situation regarding their payments," Rajasthan Royals spokesperson said in a statement.
"Every player has been assured that we will honour all our obligations to them and we have received many messages of support from our team, all of whom are comfortable with how we are managing the situation,"he said.
