The Tri-Nation series has come to an end. And it's been a disappointing result for most Indian cricket fans. iSporter Suraj Kori shares the same feeling and shares his views on why it's always 'yet another loss'!

Wasn't yesterday's game a little appalling when it came to India's performance? We fared so well in the Tri-Nation tournament and we were just not in form yesterday! Things didn’t go as expected and the day belonged to the Sri Lankans and so did the tournament! And so the bottom line is that it was 'yet' another loss for India!
It seemed as if the Lankans came to the field with a planned strategy. They somehow seemed to have an answer to each Indian batsman’s style of play. As if the Lankans knew which Indian batsman had difficulty in playing what kind of delivery and therefore bowled accordingly. Most Indian batsmen have the habit of fidgeting and toying with balls outside the off stump. The Lankans knew this and made the most of it!
With Sehwag being a good bet in terms of his batting, he also failed to perform to his best! On the match day the situation demanded for him to play the role of a sheath anchor as rest of the senior players had gone back to pavilion. But I feel he played carelessly! He should have changed his style of play for sure. The pitch was good for batting and he unfortunately did not make the most of it.

India has a very bad habit of reaching the finals and somehow not really fighting back just when it matter the most! India has been winning many bilateral series but when it comes to a triangular series or any ICC tournament they are left exposed. There were a lot of hopes pinned up on this match given that India were performing well in the series. But they lacked on the batting front on the match day.
India has been playing Sri Lanka for the past few months and also know all the positives and negatives of every player comes with. However I doubt if they have teruly made full use of this knowledge.
There are a couple of series lined up for India in next few months. Let's hope there are better things in store for Indian cricket.
