iSport - the word seems to be picked up due to the popularity of the iPod - but let us assure you it certainly is not.

iSport stands for I - Sport - to establish as close a connection between Sports and their fans!

Came into existence about a year back - iSport is the brain child of 5 passionate sports fans, experts and ex-professionals - whose vision is to use the iSport platform to talk about India's sporting achievements in and outside the world of cricket. While that is also the vision of many other sites - iSport wishes to take a step further by encouraging readers and viewers to take up to playing a sport.

While iSport's vision is endorsed by many a World Champion athletes - we don't stop here. We're creating our platform to be 'for the fans, by the fans' where we're giving our readers an opportunity to write for the site and become custodians of their team, player or even the sport altogether. This is where we invite all our fans and readers to come and share their passion for sports - on our very platform.
