Taking cue from Mary Kom and Pankaj Advani who won India a Gold and Bronze respectively at the Asian Indoor Games in Vietnam, the Indian snooker team added yet another Gold to India's tally.
Team INDIA comprising of Aditya Mehta, Manan Chandra and Brijesh Damani won the Gold Medal for Team Snooker event in 3rd Indoor Asian Games 2009 at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The Team India beat Qatar in straight frames 3-0 as per following frame scores:
1. Manan Chandra (India) beat Saif Ahmed (Qatar) ---- (66-00)
2. Aditya Mehta beat Mohana Al-Obaidly (Qatar) -------(64-30)
3. Aditya Mehta/Manan Chandra beat Saif Ahmed/Mohana Al-Obaidly --------- 62-12
