As Novak Djokovic won his second Australian Open Andy Murray yet again fell at the final hurdle. iSporter Chirag Mansukhani believes though that Murray's time will come, very soon.

Andy Murray broke millions of British hearts today as he went down to a formidable Novak Djokovic who managed to crush everyone who fell in his path this Australian Open. Novak Djokovic brushed aside Andy Murray with a three set victory 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 on his way to his second grand slam title.
One has to feel for Andy Murray as he has fell short yet again in this his third grand slam attempt. Murray has previously fallen victim to Roger Federer at the U.S. Open and last year at the final hurdle of the Australian Open. An interesting fact is that Murray has managed to somehow lose all three finals without winning a set. Murray was clearly outplayed on Sunday and one has to definitely hand it to the Serbian who since his Davis Cup victory has looked in sublime touch. Now with the first grand slam of the year also in his trophy cabinet one can say without a doubt that NoJo has finally arrived on the scene and in a big way that too. Now he can be a recognised serious threat to the Federer-Nadal era that has dominated so much of men’s tennis for the last decade.
Well coming down to Mr. Murray, one feels for the young Scot in a big way. With a nations hopes pinned on his young shoulders he seems to keep succumbing at the final frontier. Personally, I feel that one of the reasons he has fallen short so far of that elusive grand slam title is the immense pressure put on him by the British press. Understandably the Brits are eagerly awaiting their next Champion and it has been a long time coming after Fred Perry but a little less pressure one feels would do the Scot a world of good.
Scottish whiskey takes time to brew, but the older it gets the better it tastes. I think personally Murray will realise his dream this year at Wimbledon with Champagne, strawberries and cream. What a feeling that would be. It would be a fitting story for the Scotsman, who I guarantee will arrive on the scene with a bang this Wimbledon.
A word on NoJo. One has to say that he looks to be invincible and while I am a huge Federer fan anyone who saw that match has to agree that Federer was simply annihilated and taken to the cleaners by a man on a mission.
A word to the wise for anyone who writes of Andy Murray to early; this wily Scotsman will certainly win a grand slam; perhaps many more than just one and will many more hearts than he has already won all around the world.
Murray mania will be back soon as the Championships arrive shortly after Roland Garros and Henman Hill and Murray Mount are sure to come alive and get behind the Scotsman like wildfire who will fulfil his destiny and win his maiden grand slam at the Championships this year; and all of us Murray fans shall celebrate with Champagne and strawberries and cream.
Oh wait a minute, I forgot about the Scotch thats’ being brewing all this while. Perhaps, we’ll allow Andy to take a sip of that first.
