Somdev Devvarman and Yuki Bhambri advance to the second round of Challenger event in USA

Indian Tennis stars Somdev Devvarman and Yuki Bhambri have advanced to the second round of the $50,000 ATP Challenger event. Somdev Devvarman beat American Alex Bogomolov Jr in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 while Yuki Bhambri beat Alexander Domijan 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (4) in a hard fought match.

Yuki Bhambri  will now face sixth seed Marinko Matosevic of Australia, who beat American Lester Cook 4-6, 7-6, (2) 7-5.


Somdev Devvarman will face Australian Greg Jones, who defeated American Kevin Kim 4-6, 6-2, 7-5.
