Since a long time the wait was on for the clash of the big guns,
A series named after the kings of innumerable runs.
Losing the toss, India’s luck totally ran out,
Watson in full flow as Australians went on a total rout.
Runs started flowing, bowlers credentials were put under doubt,
Up stepped Zaheer, showed the youngsters how to go about!
Poor fielding meant the bowling efforts went in absolute vain,
Young talented keeper giving them pretty intense Paine (92)!
Chasing 428, as always we got a quick and brilliant start,
Sehwag on fire, Dravid showed the world why he is class apart!

But it was our God, who was the star of the show,
Middling the ball, looking in extremely good flow,
90’s voodoo struck again as India was dealt with a very big blow! (98)
Chasing 216 all hopes were on our great cricketing pillars
It’s India vs Australia so we are never short of thrillers!
Indeed we won the match but the heroes were the Physio & the pain-killers!
