Cricket Update: The only current batsman to find a place in ESPNcricinfo's all-time Test World XI is none other than Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. No other Indian player is a part of the all-time eleven. The other players included in the playing XI are Don Bradman, Vivian Richards, Garry Sobers and Shane Warne.

The much awaited list which was out this morning does not include Australian Captain Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara, Sunil Gavaskar or Glenn Mcgrath. The list consists of mostly Australian players including Adam Gilchrist and Dennis Lillee apart from Shane Warne and Don Bradman. This news was after Ricky Ponting labeled Sachin Tendulkar an 'under-performer'. The First World XI hence had following players:

The jury members which comprised of one former captain from each of the top Test-playing teams and cricket historians and writers, picked up Don Bradman, Gary Sobers and Shane Warne as top three cricketers with 60 points followed by Sachin Tendulkar at no. 4 with 51 points.

The jury included:  Ian Chappell, Clive Lloyd, Tony Greig, Duleep Mendis, Ali Bacher, Intikhab Alam, John Wright, Ajit Wadekar, David Frith, Ramachandra Guha, Gideon Haigh and Peter Roebuck.

The World XI: Jack Hobbs, Len Hutton, Don Bradman, Sachin Tendulkar, Viv Richards, Garry Sobers, Adam Gilchrist, Malcolm Marshall, Shane Warne, Wasim Akram, Dennis Lillee

The Second XI: Sunil Gavaskar, Barry Richards, George Headley, Brian Lara, Wally Hammond, Imran Khan, Alan Knott, Bill O'Reilly, Fred Trueman, Muttiah Muralitharan, SF Barnes
